SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E for Meshtastic
— 1 minute to read
This small little device is a tracker designed for Meshtastic, about the size of credit card, but thicker. It is small enough to carry around attached to my backpack.
The easiest thing to notice is that it does not have a display. It is designed to be used with another device over Blueteooth. It will save messages when not connected to a device, so you can read them later.
Hardware:
- MCU: Nordic nRF52840 (supports Bluetooth)
- LoRa Transceiver: Semtech LR1110 (863-928 MHz)
- Navigation: Mediatek AG3335 GPS module
- Battery Capacity: 700 mAh rechargeable lithium battery
Pros
- I like the small size and feel of the case. It feels rugged. Unlike 3D printed cases you use for most other devices.
- It is IP65 rated and therefore quite waterproof.
- The buzzer is quite loud when enabled.
Cons
- I wish for a longer runtime between charges. Two days is not bad though.
- The buzzer is quite loud when enabled.
